Sega gave members of the press a firsthand look at the upcoming "Captain America: Super Soldier" this past Thursday in San Francisco, and while we'll be bringing you more on the event soon we thought you'd like a gander at some new screenshots from the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS versions of the game as well as an awesome new trailer featuring gameplay from the next gen version!

With "Captain America: The First Avenger" star Chris Evans lending his voice and likeness to the game, fans will have a chance to enter the world of Captain America like never before in this exciting new adventure hitting shelves this summer!

Viaje a uma terra distante para salvar os habitantes locais da invasão de criaturas horrendas e se torne um herói!

Dungeon Blitz é um jogo online que mistura RPG com ação arcade em terceira pessoa. Apesar de não haver nenhuma introdução à história, basta dar alguns passos para entendê-la com clareza: goblins invadiram a região e precisam ser eliminados. Contudo, o reino é grande e diversas outras localidades estão com problemas semelhantes, porém com outras criaturas.

Pode parecer um pouco estranho, mas cada vilarejo apresenta NPCs que oferecem missões – converse com eles para recebê-las –, vendem equipamentos ou ensinam novas habilidades. Dificilmente, no entanto, você precisará fazer algo diferente de matar todos os monstros em determinada região para completar as tarefas pedidas.

Crie um herói

Ao usar o botão “Clique para acessar”, a página exibida permite a criação de seu personagem. Escolha uma das classes, sexo, cores diversas e use as setas para alterar seu rosto. Nomeie-o em “Name” e clique sobre “Create”.

Então, informe email, senha, indique sua idade (maior ou menor de 13 anos, respectivamente) e clique em “Play” para jogar. Caso você acesse essa página novamente quando for se aventurar, use a opção “Or Login Existing Account?” para realizar o login.

Lembra um fliperama, porém com fichas infinitas

A maneira como as cavernas de Dungeon Blitz são organizadas lembram bastante as famosas “fases” de jogos arcade de ação. Afinal, basta avançar para a direita, derrotar os inimigos, coletar tesouros e enfrentar um oponente especialmente poderoso no final do cenário.

Cada vitória traz consigo vantagens que permitem ao herói melhorar suas habilidades ou se manter em pé para continuar a devastar as linhas inimigas. No primeiro caso, é possível que caiam dinheiro ou equipamentos: útil para comprar técnicas e melhorar atributos. Por outro lado, a maioria dos oponentes mortos deixa para trás um pouco de sua energia vital, representada por uma esfera vermelha e capaz de curar as feridas de seu personagem.

Vilarejos e suas funções

Os habitantes dos vilarejos do reino estão sempre necessitados de ajuda. Devido aos ataques repentinos, muitos bens foram roubados e pessoas, sequestradas ou mortas – logo, um herói exemplar ficará ocupado para resolver os problemas locais. Para identificar uma missão, veja se o NPC apresenta uma exclamação sobre a cabeça.

O mesmo, todavia, não acontece com treinadores e vendedores: suas marcações são mais discretas. Por exemplo, um vendedor possui “Vendor” sob seu nome, enquanto um treinador de habilidades apresenta “Trainer”. Com o primeiro, você compra equipamentos para ser capaz de enfrentar os monstros da região. No segundo, as habilidades disponíveis para o seu nível.

Equipamentos e habilidades

Cada arma ou armadura equipada possui uma habilidade ativa para ser usada durante suas lutas. Elas variam de acordo com o tipo e atributos do item – além disso, no inventário, eles são organizados conforme a região onde foram adquiridos.

Habilidades passivas são aprendidas por meio de treinadores e variam conforme a região. É preciso gastar dinheiro para comprá-las e elas servem para: aumentar ou reduzir a porcentagem de dano causado contra inimigos específicos (como goblins e dragões), melhorar o dano ao usar certo tipo de arma e, inclusive, fazer mais dinheiro cair nos espólios adquiridos.

Combate e classes

As combinações de ataque possíveis variam conforme a classe escolhida, porém uma coisa vale para todas: ataques de curta distância são usados quando há inimigos muito próximos e, quando distantes, são usadas magias. Para atacar, basta usar a seta para mirar e segurar o botão esquerdo do mouse – no caso de habilidades, use as teclas de 1 a 6.

Contudo, usar habilidades não é gratuito: é preciso causar dano com ataques normais para encher suficientemente a barra de energia. Além disso, caso você morra em combate, clique em “Respawn” ou “Revive” para ressuscitar – a barra vermelha que enche enquanto você está morto indica com quanta vida o herói voltará.

As classes existentes são três: o Paladin é capaz de devastar os oponentes, receber grandes quantidades de dano e se curar quando tiver habilidade para isso; o Rogue usa duas armas e ataca rapidamente, porém deve evitar combater grupos grandes de inimigos; por sua vez, o Mage usa magias à distância, logo, não pode estar próximo aos oponentes para atacá-los.

Teclas A e D: movimentação;
Teclas W e S: salto e pulo para a plataforma inferior;
Tecla I: abre o inventário;
Tecla L: mostra o mapa de fases da região;
Tecla M: mapa do mundo;
Tecla O: exibe lista de amigos e de jogadores online;
Enter: abre o chat e envia mensagens;
Esc: fecha janelas e cancela a edição da mensagem atual sem enviá-la.

Unless you purchase the comic on eBay there's no way to get a physical copy of the free giveaway. However DC Comics has now offered the entire issues as a free download via its DC Comics iPhone app. The comic serves as a prequel to the events of the -developed game which is due out in March 2011. There's no word yet if Wildstorm plans to release a full fledged Red Faction mini-series.
